Walking With The Wounded was set up in 2010 and our aim is to raise funds to re-train our wounded soldiers and return them to the workplace. Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. The money raised through the Sunday Times Christmas Appeal will be used to support a unique study working with a large group of people to spot the very earliest signs of Alzheimer’s disease.

Thanks to the generosity of Iceland Foods, which has covered the bulk of the Expedition costs, all  funds raised through the Sunday Times and Iceland Charitable Foundation appeals will go directly to support the great work of the two nominated charities.

Please click here to donate to the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation's general fundraising page for 2012/13. The first million pounds raised through this page will go to Alzheimer's Research UK and all money raised above that amount, up to a further £1 million, will go to Walking With The Wounded.
